Welcome! My name is Maryn Sanders, and I am a postdoctoral researcher at the USGS Landslide Hazards Program.

I am a process-based geomorphologist interested in how geologic history, climate, and topography modulate the rates and magnitudes of debris flow hazards and landscape evolution.

In my PhD, I utilized field observations, geomorphic mapping, lidar modeling and analysis, physically-based modeling, and statistical methods to extract predictive relationships from complex topographic, geologic, and climatic data.
